Australia's broadband builder NBN Co has deployed Infinera’s transcend software-defined networking (SDN) solution across its network.

National broadband network provider NBN Co says there is an increasing need for digital literacy in the workforce as high growth jobs, such as management and professional jobs, demand digital literacy skills almost seven times more frequently than occupations that are becoming less prevalent.

The NBN Co, the company building Australia's national broadband network, has doubled the maximum capacity on its transit network from 9.6Tbps to 19.2Tbps per fibre link.
